A disc of six silver fingers turns past a phone, each printed in conductive filament so the sweep registers as a real touch: a machine scrolling forever. The feed jump-cuts between burnout tips, wellness, wars, politics, and when a clip tips into violence, the screen erupts and the motor freezes, as if it too stopped to look.
The idle hand hunts dopamine with the same reflex it brings to work. Even the search for peace of mind is one more thing to consume, at the speed of catastrophe.
